The Tests of Adult Basic Education are designed to meet the needs of adult learners. Written and designed to be relevant to adult learners’ lives and interests, this materials focuses of the life, job, academic, and problem-solving skills that the typical adult needs.
The TABE identifies the following thinking processes as essential to learning and achieving goals in daily life:

CESA 7 (Cooperative Educational Service Agency 7) serves several local school districts in NWTC's district. CESA 7 Grade Level Benchmarks build upon the WIDPI proficiency standards.
Assessment/Curriculum Team Open Help Sessions
The Assessment/Curriculum Team will be available Fall 2005 to help teams learn more about the TABE tests and to pick their program TABE benchmarks. Selection of the benchmarks will be due with the annual Curriculum Modifications process on December 15, 2005.
The TABE Conversion (August 2005)
