Examples of assessment at NWTC
Assessment is done at many points of a student's experience at NWTC. Assessment can be done at a classroom, course or program level. Classroom assessments, also referred to at CAT's (Classroom Assessment Techniques) offer information about learning that occurs during a specific class meeting. Course Assessments measure achievement of competencies in a particular course. Program level assessments measure student success of achieving program outcomes. Other assessments may address core abilities or general education outcomes.
